Tools of the Trade
Technology that earns its place.
Tour-grade tools, paired with coaches who know how to use them.
Every tool at EDGE was picked because it answers a real question — about your swing, your putt, your body, or your equipment. None of it is for show.
Ball Flight & Swing Data
TrackMan
This little orange box is the most innovative piece of technology in modern golf instruction — and it lives in every bay at EDGE. TrackMan accurately tracks your golf ball and golf club data, and it doubles as a portal to a library of more than 240 high-quality golf courses. Want to play St. Andrews or PGA National after work? You can.
TrackMan combines fun games, a feedback-driven practice range, and a deep catalog of challenging golf courses. TrackMan Range has something for every skill level, with a data-driven experience that makes practice feel like a game.
Our coaches use TrackMan to provide ball flight data and swing analysis — club speed, attack angle, club path, ball speed, and many other statistics — so you can narrow your focus onto one aspect of your swing and get clear feedback on every shot.
On the TrackMan Golf App, you can access your own practice data and establish a TrackMan handicap. The app also showcases your on-course statistics — driving distances, fairways hit, greens in regulation — so the work you do indoors translates directly to better golf outdoors.
Putting · Visual
PuttView
PuttView is an Augmented Reality putting system that projects information directly onto the green. A ball-tracking camera captures your stroke and gives you visuals that build real putting skills — start line, speed, and read.
Slopes are illustrated on the green itself so you can see exactly what you're reading. Every part of the putt becomes interactive — and learnable.
It's also fun. Putt pong, mazes, tic-tac-toe, and a growing library of putting games keep you engaged — practice that doesn't feel like practice.
Putting · Stroke Analysis
SAM Putt Lab
SAM Putt Lab is the gold standard in putting stroke analysis — the same system used by tour professionals around the world. Using ultrasound sensors that don't touch your putter, it captures every measurable variable in your stroke without interfering with the way you putt.
In a single session, SAM measures face angle at impact, stroke path, tempo, rhythm, consistency, shaft rotation, and impact location. Each metric maps to a specific cause of misses — so coaching becomes diagnostic instead of guesswork.
Paired with PuttView, you get a complete picture: what your stroke is actually doing (SAM) and how to read the green better (PuttView). SAM Putt Lab is used in private coaching with our Director of Instruction, Paul Maurer, PGA.
Force & Pressure
Swing Catalyst
The Swing Catalyst Motion Plate combines state-of-the-art pressure plate technology with a highly advanced force plate. You can study detailed foot pressure data and Center-of-Pressure patterns, and the Motion Plate also captures horizontal and vertical force measurements — so we can quantify the torque and ground-reaction forces generated through your swing.
All Motion Plate data is perfectly synchronized with high-speed video and TrackMan numbers — what you feel, what you see, and what's actually happening, side by side.
